As part of the new "Elite" line, Sabatti presents the new SSP (Sabatti Superior Precision) rifle, specifically designed for precision shooting.
The heart of the SSP is the proven Blizzard action, combined with a new aluminum alloy chassis. It feeds through AICS-compatible magazines and comes with a 7-round Sabatti magazine. The trigger is the classic Sabatti Match three-lever.
The Elite line features further improvements to the bolts: they feature a separately heat-treated bolt head, with all other working surfaces ensuring exceptional smoothness, wear resistance, solidity, and robustness. The action is drilled and threaded for the installation of Blizzard-compatible scope rails and comes with a pre-installed Picatinny rail.
The barrels of the Sabatti SSP rifle use Sabatti's patented MRR rifling (Multi Radial Rifling), which allows for greater muzzle velocity, improved stabilization, and accuracy at extreme ranges, while also facilitating cleaning and maintenance. The barrel is threaded in the muzzle for the installation of accessories such as muzzle brakes and silencers, where permitted by local regulations.
The action and barrel are mounted on a new Sabatti 7075 alloy chassis, with milling designed to maintain frame rigidity and featuring a modular grip, stock, and forend. The rifle comes standard with a folding aluminum alloy stock with a vertical profile foregrip. The stock and grip are compatible with AR-15 standards, allowing for a wide range of aftermarket options to fit the shooter's needs.
The Sabatti SSP rifle is available in 223, PRS, F-Class, Sport, and Tactical versions. The versions differ in the different design of the forends, designed to make the rifle suitable for various sporting disciplines, and in the mix of calibers and barrel lengths available:
