The competition in the entry-level bolt-action hunting rifle segment is becoming increasingly intense, and again, Sabatti is addressing this challenge head-on, offering a rifle that combines all the company's signature quality features with an unbeatable price.
Within the Sabatti Next Generation line, the new Sabatti Lyra rifle is born from the experience gained in recent years on the international market with the Rover family, from which it draws and maintains the overall aesthetic lines, while simplifying some features.
The Sabatti Lyra rifle maintains all the quality standards of Sabatti CNC machining, but unlike the Rover models, it uses the robust and extensively tested Sabatti Blizzard three-tenon steel action.
Another difference compared to the Rover family is the absence of the integral Picatinny rail on the action, which features pre-drilled holes for mounting one of the many aftermarket rails available.
Following the streamlined approach that characterizes the new Sabatti Lyra rifle, the weapon lacks iron sights, features a standard Sabatti trigger, a three-round polymer magazine, and a barrel with traditional rifling.
Those familiar with Sabatti rifles know that traditional Sabatti rifling always offers above-average performance. The cold-hammer forged barrel of the Lyra rifle has a muzzle diameter of 16 mm / .62", with an M14x1 thread, and is available in two lengths: 56 cm / 22" or 61 cm / 24".
The rifle is available with a black stock or with a camo finish, both made from the same polymer and featuring the same characteristics of absolute robustness and weather resistance that characterize all Sabatti polymer stocks. The rubber butt plate and cheek piece are the same as those found on the Rover family, so the same optional kit with two oversized cheek pieces and two additional butt plate spacers can be used.
